Canadia

Had such an awesome time in Canadia. I want to go back, I am thinking of spending several weeks up there after graduation.

The trip up was rather entertaining....lets just say we got lost in the wrong neighborhood in Rochester. So much for taking the lake shore route.

Then it was two days in Toronto at a friend's house. Thanks so much!!! I got to take an 18 dollar elevator ride to the top of the CN tower. Way expensive but worth the view. Now only if I could have pushed a few students off the tower while up there things would have been even better.

The Rogers Center (home of the Toronto Blue Jays) was amazing and the game even better. Dad and I kept wondering when the Blue Jays A team was going to show up and play. I think a good little league team could have given them a run for their money.

Spent the rest of the week at the Halton Country Radial Musuem, where I learned bunches of new stuff. Got to assist in the painting of a streetcar on Saturday. I helped one of the guys work on rebuilding a track mobile including the hydraulic system and then mating the engine and transmission back together. And then got to rebuild brake valves Thursday and Friday. I think I learned more in one week in their shop than I ever did at the CT musuem. Oh well, guess its their loss.

I have to admit I got a little teary eyed when it was time to leave Saturday morning. I really had an awesome time and didn't have to think about school or deadlines or anything stressful. The anxiety really kicked in and then got worse when I checked my email last night. Eleven chapters and umpteen million articles to read for tomorrow. Let the fun and games begin.

More on my adventures and hopefully some more pictures soon too.
