Recap
I had written a blog while I was in Canada and intended to post it upon my return, but it seems old news. So for a quick few paragraph recap. Good times were had. There was an entire bottle of wine, I met the track squirrel and was subsequently babysat by said Squirrel. Thanks Nick!!! There was lots of entertainment and abuse from the guys making me even more sure that I want to move up there. They made me dinner, bought me a cake and sang to me for my birthday. Again thanks guys!!
A few days spent in Toronto. Wonderful days. Great dinner for my birthday that I wasn't expecting. Good conversations and understanding between the two of us. At least thats my take on the situation. It is left as is for now. Stupid distance. "A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars. I'd walk to you if I had no other way." That pretty much sums it up. I hate getting attached so easily. The last night was great and don't be afraid to be yourself.
The drive home.....blah, don't ever drive 10 hours in one day, by yourself when you have not gotten a full nights sleep the previous evening. I brought home a cold, but I don't mind.
Already hatching a plan to return and doing more research for my move north. I will have to rent an igloo and buy a dogsled team. But that shouldn't be a problem.
