Recap

I had written a blog while I was in Canada and intended to post it upon my return, but it seems old news. So for a quick few paragraph recap. Good times were had. There was an entire bottle of wine, I met the track squirrel and was subsequently babysat by said Squirrel. Thanks Nick!!! There was lots of entertainment and abuse from the guys making me even more sure that I want to move up there. They made me dinner, bought me a cake and sang to me for my birthday. Again thanks guys!!

A few days spent in Toronto. Wonderful days. Great dinner for my birthday that I wasn't expecting. Good conversations and understanding between the two of us. At least thats my take on the situation. It is left as is for now. Stupid distance. "A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars. I'd walk to you if I had no other way." That pretty much sums it up. I hate getting attached so easily. The last night was great and don't be afraid to be yourself.

The drive home.....blah, don't ever drive 10 hours in one day, by yourself when you have not gotten a full nights sleep the previous evening. I brought home a cold, but I don't mind.

Already hatching a plan to return and doing more research for my move north. I will have to rent an igloo and buy a dogsled team. But that shouldn't be a problem.

Cutest things ever.

Its not the best picture but these are the cutest baby booties ever and wicked easy to make. I am sensing quite a few of them will be made. I also have a pattern for T-strap booties too. They look like Mary Janes.

I am determined to finish my other baby set this week. It just needs to have all the end tucked in. And I should get a picture of Sara's socks. I gave them too her and forgot to get a picture. Silly me. Oh and one of them is bigger than the other one.

Two Weeks Left

And this semester will be over. I managed to totally tank my average in this class, stupid quiz. This was going to be my first A at MCPHS. Oh well as they say C=RN.

The cardiac floor is treating me well and the group I work with is awesome.

Still been knitting, but the guy socks I am making are far too small for guy feet. So I guess someone else will be getting the socks. And I will have to use larger needles for the next pair of guy socks.

Really missing someone right now and it seems like our schedules never coincide. This long distance thing kinda sucks but it can't be helped and I know there is no way I could deal if he was closer. I still haven't figured out what I want out of this situation, but I know I like him and want to give it a shot. Will see how it goes when I am up there. And hopefully I can convince him to come visit in October.

Off to clinical soon, so I should get dressed.
